What the signal email service stores and how it is used.
What we store
Your email address, which email types you ticked, and the date you consented. Nothing else. Your email address is the only personal data this service holds.
Double opt-in
Subscribing does nothing until you click the confirmation link we email you. Unconfirmed signups are deleted automatically after 7 days.
How your data is used
Only to send you the emails you chose and to maintain your subscription. It is never sold, shared, or used for anything else. Emails include a personal link to change your choices or unsubscribe with one click.
Backups
Subscription records are backed up to a private Google Drive spreadsheet operated by the site owner. The data in the backups is the same data described above.
Leaving
Unsubscribing stops all emails immediately and removes you from the next backup sync. Permanent deletion of your record is available on request through the contact address in any email you received.
Abuse protection
Signup requests are rate-limited per network to prevent spam abuse. We keep only a one-way, non-reversible hash of the signup network for this check, which is deleted with the 7-day pending cleanup.
Data, not financial advice.
